Class A
Permitted to drive any tractor-trailer combination.
Also allowed to operate vehicles in Class D and G.

Class D
Permitted to drive any motor vehicle exceeding 11,000 kilograms gross weight or registered gross weight, including trucks or combinations of vehicles where the towed vehicle does not exceed 4,600 kilograms.
Also allowed to operate vehicles in Class G.

Class E
Permitted to drive any school bus with a maximum capacity of 24 passengers.

Class F

Class G
Permitted to drive any car, van, small truck, or a combination of vehicle and towed vehicle up to 11,000 kilograms, provided the towed vehicle does not exceed 4,600 kilograms. For instance, a pickup truck towing a house trailer under 11,000 kilograms is considered a Class G vehicle.

Class G1
Level One of graduated licensing. Holders may drive Class G vehicles with a fully licensed driver who has at least four years of driving experience. Subject to specific conditions.
Class G2
Level Two of graduated licensing. Holders may drive Class G vehicles without an accompanying driver, subject to specific conditions.
Class M
Permitted to drive motorcycles, including motor tricycles, limited-speed motorcycles (scooters), and motor-assisted bicycles (mopeds). Holders may also drive Class G vehicles under the conditions of a Class G1 licence.

Class M1
Level One of graduated licensing for motorcycles, motor tricycles, scooters, and mopeds. Holders may operate motorcycles under specific conditions.
Class M2
Level Two of graduated licensing for motorcycles, motor tricycles, scooters, and mopeds. Holders may drive motorcycles but must maintain a zero blood alcohol level. Holders may also drive Class G vehicles under the conditions of a Class G1 licence.
Class M with L Condition
Permitted to operate limited-speed motorcycles or mopeds only.
Class M2 with L Condition
Permitted to operate limited-speed motorcycles or mopeds only.
