What is BDE Course Basic

20 +10 Hours (Online or In-House) 10 hours of In-car driving lessons Insurance discount with this certificate program 4 months reduce wait time for road test from 12 months to 8 months. driver will get a Certificate from the Ministry of Transportation. BDEC graduates with a Driver's License History from Service Ontario may be eligible for an insurance discount for three years.

Total: Payment $579 (Plus HST. 

When you are ready to start in-car lessons, the MTO Certification fee $40 will be charged at the time of certification. New online Courses start anytime any day from the comfort of your own home

G2 Test Ontario

G2 Road Test Basics

✅ Eligibility

  • Must hold your G2 licence for at least 12 months (or 8 months if you completed a ministry-approved BDE course).

  • Book through DriveTest website or centre.


✅ What the Test Covers

  1. Vehicle Safety Check

    • Ensure signals, brakes, lights, horn, and tires are in good condition.

  2. City Driving Skills

    • Left & right turns

    • 3-point turn

    • Parallel parking

    • Stop signs & traffic lights

    • Lane changes & blind spot checks

    •  

  3. Observation & Decision-Making

    • Checking mirrors, blind spots, scanning ahead

    • Judging safe gaps before turns or lane changes

    • Handling intersections & pedestrians

  • About 30–40 minutes

  • Includes both city + Residential driving


✅ Common Reasons People Fail

  • Not checking blind spots

  • Rolling stops at stop signs
